However, is it possible the developer to resell Google Glass products they have purchased? The answer is no. Google has set up a rule that "forces" the developer to have the device forever.
Found by Wired site, the pages of Term of Service, Google specifically forbids developers to resell the products they buy Google Glass.
"You may not resell, loan, transfer, or give your device to any other person." wrote Google, as quoted from Cnet, Thursday (04/18/2013).
What happens if there is a developer who is caught selling these devices? If discovered, Google threatened to shut down the Google Glass is owned by the developer. Google will not replace products that have been "destroyed" this.
“If you resell, loan, transfer, or give your device to any other person without Google’s authorization, Google reserves the right to deactivate the device, and neither you nor the unauthorized person using the device will be entitled to any refund, product support, or product warranty.” said Google.
The developer is also guaranteed to be found out if selling the device. Because, every device registered using your Google account belongs to the buyer.
From earlier reports, Google is known to have sent the first batch of special edition Google Glass. In this first phase, Google sends about 2,000 smart glasses.
Google co-founder Sergey Brin said Google Glass is currently still a prototype and not a consumer product, so it can not be traded freely. The price is still high, $1500.
